Come relax, refresh, and renew yourself with our three day youth leaders retreat. We want to encourage you in your ministry to keep going, to reach out to the youth of your city and cities that surround you.
The Youth Pastor’s Retreat takes place at our YWAM Idaho camp near Warm Lake, ID (about 40 minutes from Cascade, ID). Housing will be in our remodeled cabins (Husband/Wife housing available). You’ll be given time to climb mountains, fish, sleep, pray and enjoy fellowship with other area youth pastors.
Fish! We know you’re not coming to fish but on Tuesday from 1:30-6 you will have time to get out and wet a line, swim in Warm Lake, take a hike or maybe even just take a nap!
As current youth workers, we know how hard it can get to manage a everyday life and your youth group while trying to find time to rest your soul and just be with Jesus. We want to give you some time away to draw near to God and let you experience him in a whole new way. Come rest. Come grow with other youth leaders as we create an atmosphere that will allow God to refresh our souls!
The info:
The youth leaders retreat will be held Monday August 15th to Wednesday August 17th. The cost is $50 per person (includes room and food.) Bring your whole team with you! This is for all youth leaders in your church. We are excited for this year and would love to have you be a part of it. Please arrive between 1:30 and 5:30 on Monday, August 15th and plan to depart after lunch by 1:30 PM on Wednesday, August 17th.
Activities we will do:
We plan to do lots of activities while we relax. We love the great outdoors that the Lord has blessed us with and we want to pass that blessing onto you. We plan to go hiking, play sand volleyball, fishing, hot springs and camp fires. Come take a hike to the cross to see the remarkable story of how God preserved our camp during a wild fire.
What to bring:
Please bring your; Bible, Journal, Pen, Weather appropriate clothing, swimming suite, good hiking shoes, fishing gear.
